billiards and darts

On Tuesday, my friends and I went to Shimo-tori and played billiards, darts and table tennis. One of my friends said, "Let's go play billiards and darts!", so we went to internet cafe to do that. All of us except her never played billiards, but we have played darts. First, we played billiards. My friend taught us how to play billiards. We had a lot of faulty shots in billiards, but it was very interesting for us! Second, we played darts. I have played it once, but I am not good at playing darts. I thought my friends were very good player. After that, we played table tennis. We couldn't continue the rally because we were very tired. We had a great time!!

Essay 5: My perfect vacation

I'm now a senior at KGU, so this summer vacation will be the last time of the life in the university. There are a lot of things that I want to do. First, I want to go to summer festival and see fireworks. I like summer festivals, but I couldn't go last year because I had a part time job. I was very busy and tired, so I didn't go. I saw the fireworks on the bridge, but I want to be nearer the fireworks. I think seeing fireworks nearby is the best because I can feel them punch and beauty. Also, I want to wear a yukata. I think yukatas are great. I haven't worn a yukata since I was a high school student. First of all, I have to buy a yukata.

Second, I want to go to the beach. Speaking of summer, I think many people associate with the mountains and the beach. I would rather go to the beach than to the mountains. I have wanted to go to the beach since I was a junior high school student. I have worked at a beach house when I was a high school student, but I didn't go to the seaside. I stayed at the beach house and tended the shop. I can't swim but I like to gather shells on the seashore. When I was a child, I liked to collect stones and shells. I still have them. I hate getting a sunburn, but I want to go. My friends want to go to the pool, so I think the pool is good idea. I have to buy a swimsuit too.

Third, I want to go on a trip with my friends or my family. I want to go to the Tokyo Disney Land and Sea. Also, I want to go to Universal Studios Japan, but I have been there three times during the university life. I have been to TDL and TDS once. I went to there with my mother for a graduation trip when I graduated from junior high school. I had a good time then. I want to go on a graduation trip again.

I have more things I want to do in the vacation. If I do the things I want to do, I have to work hard and save money! I want to enjoy the vacation.

karaoke

I went to karaoke with my friends on Monday. I rarely go to karaoke because I don't like to sing songs. I like to listen to music better than sing. However, I wanted to cry out loudly then. I heard that the singer who is my favorite group's vocalist got married!!! I couldn't believe that and I was very surprised. I was really unsettled. I thought he has written lyrics for song for his girlfriend and she is his wife now! They were dating when they were high school students. My friends and I like him and his group. We sang their songs and feel the meaning of lyrics.

Vietnam restaurant

Last week, I went to Vietnam restaurant which is nanpo small kitchen with my friend. We went there for lunch. I have been to there once, but my friend went there for the first time.

I ordered Vietnam pho. Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup. It is served in a bowl with a specific cut of rice noodles in clear beef broth. You can drop lemon juice into the pho depending on the taste. I think it will be a refreshing taste when I drop it. I like rice noodles! I wanted to eat pho, and I was looking forward to eat pho for a long time. I was really happy to eat pho. I was satisfied.






This is a Nasi Goreng which is Indonesian fried rice. My friend ordered it. Nasi Goreng is fried rice with spices such as kecap manis which is sweet soy sauce, shallots, garlic, tamarind and chilli. Also, it topped with a fried egg. I have eaten it before, I think it was great. She was the first time to eat it. It was little spicy, but she likes it. 

This is a tea. We could choose one from three drinks. I ordered jasmine tea, it was hot tea, and she ordered tea. That tea's flavor was lychee. I and she haven't heard lychee tea. It was very good.

This is a dessert. These were coconut ice cream and waffles. It looks so good!! Actually, these were very delicious!! I was very surprised that how great these are. I have never eaten coconut ice cream such as very delicious. We love it. Waffles were also good taste. I like it so much.

If you want to eat dishes or dessert, you can find this small restaurant near kami-tori. There are some shop, for example, convenience store 7-11, "tuno cafe" and ramen shop. I'd like to go there again and I will try new menu. I recommend this restaurant, so please go there with your friends. I think it will be fun.

Lunch time!!

Last Friday, I went to "Ouchi cafe" to eat lunch with my friends. I went to there for the first time, so I was looking forward to go and eat.

This is lunch C set, curry and rice with many color vegetables. I didn't eat this, but my friend said it is very good.

This is lunch A set, potato croquette enter whole egg over demi-glace. I ordered this menu. Outside of croquettes were crisp and demi-glace was very delicious.

This is a pudding dessert. Cinnamon and vanilla ice had been topping. Caramel sauce was bittersweet and pudding was very soft. I think this pudding is the most delicious in that I've ever tried. I want to eat again.












This cafe has daily lunch, so you can enjoy whenever you go. I like cooking and atmosphere of the cafe. I want to go again. Please try to go there because it is very good place. This cafe is near the University. I recommend you going on a weekday.
